Now that you've gotten hold of a drone, how do you know if you need to register? What's the regulation? What decides if you need to register or not? Where do you go? Do you register yourself or your drones?
Travelling by plane with your drone brings it's own considerations, particularly when it comes to batteries.
Pack it securly to prevent damage and bring your batteries as carry-on
Lithum batteries, commonly used with drones are considered dangerous goods by EASA.
Make sure you bring your drone batteries as carry-on, ensuring they are individually protected, to prevent short circuit.
Check with your individual airline for specific instructions.
Although not required to bring as carry-on, once the lithum battery is removed, it might be wise to do so to ensure its safety. Either way, pack it securely against damage.
